Summary

This article is talking about stress can cause obese and how to they work. These days, many people suffer stress day to day. Deadlines, bills, homework, test. Most of things are stressful to the people. The author said it can increase our appetite. When we faced stress, our body responded fight or flight. Our body released chemical hormones which called cortisol. It helps to increase energy and it into glucose. In addition, it moves to muscle. So you can get power. But it can also move fat especially your abdomen. So you can obese easily when you faced stress. Also, eating comfort foods are helpful your brain and body. It makes you feel relax and comfortable. But they have a lot of carbohydrates so you can get easily fat.


Reaction

Through this article, I can learn about how stress affects to people and how our bodies react when we suffer stress. After I read this article, I know what the author said, which is that when we suffer stress, our body release hormones that are not helpful to our body sometimes. These hormones can cause obese. Because they give energy to us but they also move to their energy into fat. Also, I agreed that we can get easily fat when we feel stress. It cause desire to eat. So we eat a lot and get diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure. For example, when I felt stress, I ate a lot. I ate comport food. It made me feel happy and relax. Also, many women ate chocolates and candies when they felt stress. Because chocolates and candies have sugar, it can reduce our stress. I think stress can cause obese and sometimes we tend to eat a lot of food for reduce stress. And it causes fat and many diseases to us.
